Genome-Wide Analysis, Identification, and Characterization of the PFK Gene Family Members of Populus deltoides

Plants produce two phosphorylated enzymes: pyrophosphate-dependent fructose-6-phosphate phosphotransferase (PFP) and ATP-dependent phosphofructokinase (PFK). However, the characterization of (PFK) family members their functions remains unexplored in Eastern Cottonwood (Populus deltoides). This study comprehensively analyzed 17 genes P. deltoides genome, including gene structure, conserved domains, evolutionary relationships, expression patterns. Genome-wide analysis poplar genome identified 11 belonging to PdPFK 6 PdPFP. Phylogenetic, motif analyses revealed main categories PFK genes: with eleven PFP six genes. Quantitative PCR (qPCR) demonstrated that all were induced various tissues developmental stages deltoides. PFPs strongly expressed throughout deltoides’ growth development, notably roots, according transcript analysis. genome-wide provides insights into establishes a foundation for future investigations role deltoids.
